Spectators: 7331 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fabio Tancredo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gavino Faron charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gavino Faron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of LA VECCHIA SIGNORA FC booed when San Lorenzo fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Faron didn't get a good kick on the ball. San Lorenzo fc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Abelardo Luzea scored to the left of an out of position Mario Boniel, making the score, 1-0. Rodrigo Ponciano came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by San Lorenzo fc's Elias Salvino. But to his dismay, Elias Salvino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 16 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo fc's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Luzea came free, but Mario Boniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Paolo Mosen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mario Boniel. San Lorenzo fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paolo Mosen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a rather tough play, LA VECCHIA SIGNORA FC's Amadeo Koldo got a free kick in the 21st minute. Mario Boniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Luzea in the 29th minute of play. San Lorenzo fc's Mario Boniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save San Lorenzo fc from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabio Tancredo in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrigo Ponciano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabio Tancredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Rodrigo Ponciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The LA VECCHIA SIGNORA FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. San Lorenzo fc were winning 2-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paolo Mosen was the one to do the kick off. Fabio Tancredo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodrigo Ponciano having to make a save. Rodrigo Ponciano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elias Salvino went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Edgard Sindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Rodrigo Ponciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. San Lorenzo fc's Mario Boniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Luzea in the 66th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Fabio Tancredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Tancredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Ponciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, Paolo Mosen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LA VECCHIA SIGNORA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Mosen in the 79th minute of play forced San Lorenzo fc's goalkeeper Mario Boniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo fc's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Luzea came free, but Mario Boniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Boniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Luzea in the 94th minute of the match. The San Lorenzo fc players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
