Spectators: 7380 (Terracing: 5536, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 147) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paolo Mosen took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes, Mataderos FC's Dante Mannie shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rodrigo Ponciano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mataderos FC reached it. 5 minutes into the match Paolo Mosen climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Anacleto Vedillo. If Isaias Ekain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paolo Mosens short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Anacleto Vedillo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elvio Pes during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elvio Pes kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Fausto Fernado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Ponciano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Anacleto Vedillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paolo Mosen in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Fernado in the 36th minute of play forced LA VECCHIA SIGNORA FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Ponciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Ponciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Fernado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mataderos FC's Marcelo Tome got a free kick in the 38th minute. Rodrigo Ponciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Fernado in the 43rd minute of play. With 45 minutes on the clock, Desiderio Henrico commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Marcelo Tome placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fausto Fernado to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Ponciano was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Isaias Ekain capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Isaias Ekain really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Isaias Ekain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mataderos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaias Ekain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Ponciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodrigo Ponciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Fernado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Mataderos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. With his leg Rodrigo Ponciano managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Mataderos FC's Isaias Ekain fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Mosen in the 80th minute of play forced Mataderos FC's goalkeeper Anacleto Vedillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Salomon kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Fausto Fernado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Rodrigo Ponciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Ponciano made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Isaias Ekain sent off a good shot on target. If Isaias Ekain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mataderos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mataderos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
