In the 7th minute, one of Dea Quattro F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dea Quattro F.C.. When the match had been going on for 10 minutes, Club Atlético Balvanera's Albano Benat got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Astor Paulin. When Edgardo Bizen fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Balvanera's protests and gave Edgardo Bizen a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes Club Atlético Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Bizen. Aurelio Nabar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Sustrai in the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Balvanera's Generoso Fanuco got a free kick in the 17th minute. Ediberto Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Paulin having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Dea Quattro F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Senio to maneuver through the defense. Astor Paulin made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Ediberto Vides sent off a good shot on target. Domas Balčius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Astor Paulin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Jonatan Beturian made the kick off in the second half. When Ediberto Vides came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Club Atlético Balvanera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ediberto Vides couldn't finish the play. Club Atlético Balvanera made a substitution. Ceferino Serafo replaced Generoso Fanuco. With an all-out effort, Dea Quattro F.C.'s Aurelio Nabar threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alejandro Crescencio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Albano Benat put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Astor Paulin. In the 84thth minute of the game Albano Benat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dea Quattro F.C.'s Astor Paulin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Ceferino Serafo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Balvanera's supporters rose to their feet, but Ceferino Serafo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astor Paulin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aurelio Nabar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Crescencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
