Lino Ospetsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmar Enmanuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Abadie in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Raven Football Club's Jorge Xacintu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amado Gerazan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 32 minutes, Albano Thomas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cipolleti and the Raven Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute Delmar Abadie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Enmanuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Oroitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Enmanuel having to interfere. Jorge Xacintu's late challenge caught a Cipolleti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Xacintu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cipolleti booed when Raven Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Xacintu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Gartzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raven Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cipolleti the free kick. Delmar Abadie took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmar Enmanuel. Delmar Enmanuel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jorge Xacintu was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Raven Football Club getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jorge Xacintu hit a great ball. In the 57th play minute Delmar Abadie came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Delmar Enmanuel. 0-3. With a little luck, Raven Football Club's Delmar Enmanuel got control of the ball when Delmar Abadie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Maties struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Amado Gerazan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raven Football Club. Delmar Enmanuel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Cristian Maties shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Gerazan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipolleti's Albano Thomas got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Albano Thomas off the ground. When Delmar Abadie came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Cipolleti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Abadie couldn't finish the play. After 89 played minutes Raven Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Garikoitz. In the 95th match minute, Raven Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Maties to maneuver through the defense. Cipolleti's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
