Orlando Dei was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 10 minutes, Santiago Reno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Glory's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Reno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute Rodrigo Primeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Dei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Dei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Reno, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Rodrigo Primeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Golden Glory's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Erramu came free, but Honorio Cisco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dante Gombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. Orlando Dei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Christian Emmanuel came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Midland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Emmanuel couldn't finish the play. Dante Gombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adolfo Matai charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adolfo Matai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Midland's Adolfo Matai got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 35 played minutes Golden Glory got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Feliz. After the first half Golden Glory were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Orlando Dei made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Rodrigo Primeiro sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 58 minutes, Christian Emmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Midland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Emmanuel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roman Turi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Primeiro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 62nd playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Cristobal Katia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Midland's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristobal Katia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorio Cisco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orlando Dei stood somewhat misplaced when Rodrigo Primeiro came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 69 minute. Dante Gombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Midland fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Midland's Dante Gombal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Honorio Cisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Emmanuel in the 84th minute of play. Carolo Solustiano charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carolo Solustiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rodrigo Primeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Dei having to interfere. In the 96th match minute, Golden Glory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Reno to maneuver through the defense. The Midland supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Golden Glory's performance. The match ended with a win for Golden Glory.
