After 4 played minutes JUVENTUD UNIDA got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Bautista. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Toribio in the 5th minute of play forced JUVENTUD UNIDA's goalkeeper Arsenio Filipo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edelmiro Napier hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Santiago Reno made a precise shot to the right of Arsenio Filipo. JUVENTUD UNIDA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Arsenio Filipo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Primeiro in the 16th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Primeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arsenio Filipo. JUVENTUD UNIDA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Primeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Gervasio Bautista made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Golden Glory's Urbano Toribio. Arsenio Filipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Primeiro in the 25th minute of play. Roman Turi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsenio Filipo having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Roman Turi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Glory fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Amador Rafe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Honorio Cisco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arsenio Filipo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Primeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Santiago Reno hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Arsenio Filipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Lluis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Santiago Reno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Filipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidro Stanislao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Honorio Cisco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Golden Glory were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute of the match, Andres Manni got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arsenio Filipo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Victoriano Lluis scored 0-4 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arsenio Filipo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amador Rafe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. JUVENTUD UNIDA's Arsenio Filipo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save JUVENTUD UNIDA from getting a goal against them. In the 68th minute, Golden Glory's Santiago Reno ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arsenio Filipo. Arsenio Filipo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. 73 minutes into the match, Urbano Toribio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arsenio Filipo, 0-6. The Golden Glory fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Golden Glory's Santiago Reno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Amador Rafe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Golden Glory played a much better game than JUVENTUD UNIDA and deserved their victory. The JUVENTUD UNIDA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
