Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Teofilo Iruinea made the kick off and thus started the match. When Gavino Mergildo fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cerrillos AFC's protests and gave Gavino Mergildo a yellow card for diving instead. Luciano Jaen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Gustavo Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Teofilo Iruinea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cerrillos AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Heineken FC's zone, Teofilo Iruinea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barnett Malacarne came out of the goal and Teofilo Iruinea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute Teofilo Iruinea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnett Malacarne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 minutes, Evelio Gonsalve mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heineken FC and the Cerrillos AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Evelio Gonsalve hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofilo Iruinea in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barnett Malacarne saved Heineken FC from getting behind. After 24 played minutes Heineken FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Nuñez. In the last second Barnett Malacarne throw himself and got hold of the ball when Teofilo Iruinea in the 25thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Barnett Malacarne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albano Rioja in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Jorge Etxepare was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cerrillos AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heineken FC the free kick. Barnett Malacarne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Iruinea in the 42nd minute of play. Heineken FC's Barnett Malacarne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Iruinea in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Bembe made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Teofilo Iruinea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerrillos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Iruinea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Ellande in the 57th minute of play forced Heineken FC's goalkeeper Barnett Malacarne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute of the match Gavino Mergildo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Barnett Malacarne showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Teofilo Iruinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Iruinea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teofilo Iruinea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barnett Malacarne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After 76 played minutes Heineken FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Nuñez. The audience was convinced that Teofilo Iruinea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barnett Malacarne was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. If Teofilo Iruinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albano Rioja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Severino Ellande came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Cerrillos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Ellande couldn't finish the play. Heineken FC's Barnett Malacarne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Iruinea in the 93rd minute of play. Jairo Mel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Barnett Malacarne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cerrillos AFC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Jorge Etxepare hit a great ball. Cerrillos AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
