An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Daunte in the 5th minute of play forced Leteque's goalkeeper Nestor Gonzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Jose Manny managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leteque's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Manny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Honrio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nestor Gonzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Daunte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th match minute, Atamisqui AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Vigil to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Leteque's Braulio Quirze broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nestor Gonzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Daunte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atamisqui AFC were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Leteque's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Angel Madaleno took the corner. When Alfonso Daunte came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Atamisqui AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Daunte couldn't finish the play. Atamisqui AFC's Vicente Erlantz got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Alfonso Daunte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Braulio Quirze hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After having played for 36 minutes, Alfonso Daunte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atamisqui AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Daunte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th match minute, Leteque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Cordeara to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Leteque's zone, Alfonso Daunte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Gonzo came out of the goal and Alfonso Daunte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nestor Gonzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Daunte, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Nestor Gonzo came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Atamisqui AFC's Vicente Erlantz. But to his dismay, Vicente Erlantz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nestor Gonzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Daunte in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Atamisqui AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Manny in the 53rd minute of play forced Atamisqui AFC's goalkeeper Enrique Honrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Atamisqui AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Carlos Nuñez hit a great ball. In the 58thth minute of the game Alfonso Daunte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leteque's Nestor Gonzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Vicente Erlantz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Erlantz's late challenge caught a Leteque's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Erlantz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Atamisqui AFC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Vicente Erlantz hit a great ball. Vicente Erlantz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Daunte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vicente Erlantz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Nestor Gonzo made a huge save. After 83 played minutes Atamisqui AFC got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Cidro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Daunte in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Gonzo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Vicente Erlantz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atamisqui AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
