Basilio Pirmin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Drame, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, TXI 1993's Hilario Guillelmo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Clodoveo Toribio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hilario Guillelmo's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Guillelmo in the 21st minute of play forced Ticosis FC's goalkeeper Clodoveo Toribio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Mergildo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Clodoveo Toribio made a huge save. Ticosis FC's Melquiades Oxel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Patxi Iglesias in the 31 minute of the game. In the 33rd minute, TXI 1993's Hilario Guillelmo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Clodoveo Toribio. Clodoveo Toribio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Carlos Vasco kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Isaias Rocio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

53 minutes into the game, TXI 1993's Hilario Guillelmo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clodoveo Toribio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Isaias Rocio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basilio Pirmin having to make a save. Melquiades Oxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Basilio Pirmin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ticosis FC's Ruben Etxepare got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Celedonio Lazcano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clodoveo Toribio came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by TXI 1993's Hilario Guillelmo. But to his dismay, Hilario Guillelmo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Guillelmo in the 74th minute of play forced Ticosis FC's goalkeeper Clodoveo Toribio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Hilario Guillelmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Toribio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Celedonio Lazcano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the game, TXI 1993's Nicasio Ugutz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clodoveo Toribio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. The audience was convinced that Hilario Guillelmo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clodoveo Toribio was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Clodoveo Toribio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Guillelmo in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. TXI 1993 had won after a very even match.
