Delmiro Peio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Tobias Gitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Los Andes's Feliberto Justin got a free kick in the 15th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmiro Peio in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Gitano saved Los Andes from getting behind. Tobias Gitano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Peio, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Rosario booed when Los Andes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Pelagius didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29 played minutes Los Andes got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Osoro. In the 30th minute Delmiro Peio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Gitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Delmiro Peio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Gitano was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rosario had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
