Leo Venceslao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eustaquio Bidari's late challenge caught a Mitre Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 83rd minute Raul Osoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Ordono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
