Rigoberto Musko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobias Abeijon went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ciro Lucado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rigoberto Musko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Naldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The River Plate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rigoberto Musko should have stopped the shot. Ciro Lucado scored 0-4 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rigoberto Musko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the game, Dionisio Normando threw the ball into play from the sideline. El Eje del Norte's Narciso Nataniel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 35th minute, Ciro Lucado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narciso Nataniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Musko having to interfere. Rigoberto Musko came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by El Eje del Norte's Guido Naldo. But to his dismay, Guido Naldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. With a little luck, El Eje del Norte's Alberto Di Matteo got control of the ball when Ernesto Pabla tried to sneak it across the goal line.
Ciro Lucado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rigoberto Musko came out and tried to block the shot, but Ciro Lucado slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the game, Ciro Lucado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rigoberto Musko. Ciro Lucado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Thanks to some nice moves Guido Naldo could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Rigoberto Musko however easily saved by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Tobias Abeijon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rigoberto Musko. That made the score 0-8 in the 61 minute of play. If Ciro Lucado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 68 minutes into the match, Ciro Lucado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rigoberto Musko, 0-10. With a little luck, River Plate's Rigoberto Musko got control of the ball when Tobias Abeijon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guido Naldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Rigoberto Musko made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ciro Lucado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rigoberto Musko. That made the score 0-11 in the 74 minute of play. Guido Naldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Eje del Norte made a substitution. Vinicio Dorio replaced Rolando Indalecio. 82 minutes into the match, River Plate's goalkeeper Rigoberto Musko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guido Naldo. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Tobias Abeijon managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Eje del Norte's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Abeijon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Musko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dionisio Normando hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Guido Naldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Rigoberto Musko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Ciro Lucado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded El Eje del Norte left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than River Plate.
