In the 83rd match minute, Universidad Buenos Aires was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Mon to maneuver through the defense. Ciriaco Martinez's late challenge caught a Deportivo Bera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
