Guillermo Arce didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximo Oier went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moises Mouricio during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Roosevelt's Moises Mouricio got a free kick in the 8th minute. Higinio Txartiko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Fabio Jordy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, La Banda de Río 4to's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Bixintxo came free, but Guillermo Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Moises Mouricio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guillermo Arce. La Banda de Río 4to's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Mouricio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Oier in the 19th minute of play forced La Banda de Río 4to's goalkeeper Guillermo Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Edelmiro Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Jordy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Mantzio in the 25th minute of the match. Pablo Montay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Fabio Jordy made a huge save. A collision led to La Banda de Río 4to getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Carolo Quin hit a great ball. In the 35th minute Maximo Oier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillermo Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Bixintxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 38 minutes, Eriberto Bixintxo made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. La Banda de Río 4to's Guillermo Arce tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciriaco Mantzio to strike the kick off in the second half. Pablo Montay's late challenge caught a Roosevelt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pablo Montay helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to La Banda de Río 4to getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Pablo Montay hit a great ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Placido Leguizamón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Banda de Río 4to's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Leguizamón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Mantzio in the 62nd minute of play forced Roosevelt's goalkeeper Fabio Jordy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Arce was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Maximo Oier capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maximo Oier really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. In the 67th minute Maximo Oier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ciriaco Mantzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, La Banda de Río 4to's goalkeeper Guillermo Arce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eriberto Bixintxo. Eriberto Bixintxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Guillermo Arce made a huge save. A hard shot 79 in the game by Eriberto Bixintxo from a close distance when the talented Guillermo Arce managed to make a qualified save. La Banda de Río 4to's players were relieved. Ciriaco Mantzio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Jordy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Mouricio got free with Guillermo Arce in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 90 minutes of play, La Banda de Río 4to's Higinio Txartiko made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Jordy was left in no man's land by his defense there! The La Banda de Río 4to supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Roosevelt's performance. The match ended with a win for Roosevelt.
