Blackwater's Alfredo Precioso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Feliu in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Modesto Feliu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alfredo Precioso, passed just outside the right post. In the 7th match minute, Blackwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Egoitz to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 10 minutes, Apolo Gabino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club atlético sacachispas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Apolo Gabino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chicão de Queiroz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eriberto Bieito's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Club atlético sacachispas's Chicão de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Bieito in the 21st minute of play. Blackwater were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Club atlético sacachispas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Florentino Orlin took the corner. After taking down the ball on Blackwater's corner Florentino Orlin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Chicão de Queiroz quite easily take care of the ball. Ulises Egoitz charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulises Egoitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Blackwater getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ulises Egoitz hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the game, Club atlético sacachispas's Apolo Gabino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredo Precioso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Modesto Feliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Eriberto Bieito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blackwater's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eriberto Bieito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chicão de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Bieito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chicão de Queiroz came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Blackwater's Eriberto Bieito. But to his dismay, Eriberto Bieito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saturnino Ugutz to make the kick off. If Apolo Gabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Bieito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Chicão de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Pastor Aurken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blackwater's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club atlético sacachispas the free kick. Apolo Gabino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saturnino Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão de Queiroz having to interfere. Club atlético sacachispas's Chicão de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Ugutz in the 80th minute of play. Eriberto Bieito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão de Queiroz having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnulfo Diegotxe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Chicão de Queiroz. That made the score 1-3 in the 84 minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Blackwater's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Gabino came free, but Alfredo Precioso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eriberto Bieito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulises Egoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. If Modesto Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Blackwater walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
