Chicão de Queiroz came out of the goal and Eriberto Bixintxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute, Eliseo Bembe made a precise shot to the right of Chicão de Queiroz. Club atlético sacachispas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Roosevelt's Alvaro Baldovino got a free kick in the 10th minute. Club atlético sacachispas's Apolo Gabino got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eriberto Bixintxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão de Queiroz having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apolo Gabino got free with Fabio Jordy in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Apolo Gabino took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Jordy. Fabio Jordy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Club atlético sacachispas's Justino Laurendi got a free kick in the 26th minute. Octavio Marques hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Benito Dodorol charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Dodorol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Club atlético sacachispas's Benito Dodorol got a free kick in the 34th minute. When Roosevelt's Maximo Oier in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club atlético sacachispas's goalie prevented a goal. When Baldomero Sancho fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club atlético sacachispas's protests and gave Baldomero Sancho a yellow card for diving instead. Maximo Oier took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chicão de Queiroz. Chicão de Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximo Oier to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Club atlético sacachispas's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Oier came free, but Chicão de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Jordy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Gabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roosevelt's Fabio Jordy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Gabino in the 56th minute of play. Apolo Gabino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Oier in the 64th minute of play forced Club atlético sacachispas's goalkeeper Chicão de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Jordy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Feliu in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute of the match, Eriberto Bixintxo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Chicão de Queiroz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Oier in the 74th minute of play forced Club atlético sacachispas's goalkeeper Chicão de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th match minute, Club atlético sacachispas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Marques to maneuver through the defense. Fabio Jordy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Apolo Gabino's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Roosevelt's goalkeeper Fabio Jordy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chicão de Queiroz was a little too slow when Maximo Oier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-3. 91 minutes into the match, Club atlético sacachispas's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Oier came free, but Chicão de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 minutes of play, Roosevelt's Eriberto Bixintxo made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chicão de Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Roosevelt players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
