Fabio Jordy came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Bangsbo's Nereo Salvino. But to his dismay, Nereo Salvino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Roosevelt's Eriberto Bixintxo got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eriberto Bixintxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Osvaldo Maju made a huge save. Club Atlético Bangsbo's Osvaldo Maju played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Oier in the 12th minute of play. Fabio Jordy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Gilabert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Club Atlético Bangsbo booed when Roosevelt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nereo Salvino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Roosevelt's Moises Mouricio got a free kick in the 28th minute. Eriberto Bixintxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Osvaldo Maju made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Gilabert in the 35th minute of play forced Roosevelt's goalkeeper Fabio Jordy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th match minute, Roosevelt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Franco to maneuver through the defense. Maximo Oier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Maju having to interfere. Nereo Salvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Jordy having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nereo Salvino to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabio Jordy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Gilabert in the 53rd minute. In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Roosevelt. Jimeno Xacintu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Osvaldo Maju. 2-1. After 68 minutes, Aurelio Iraido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Bangsbo and the Roosevelt players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Aurelio Iraido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Jordy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Salvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Roosevelt's Eliseo Bembe got a free kick in the 85th minute. Nereo Salvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Fabio Jordy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Alfredo Gilabert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Fabio Jordy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roosevelt's Fabio Jordy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Roosevelt from getting a goal against them. 100 minutes into the match, Roosevelt's goalkeeper Fabio Jordy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Gilabert. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
