When Gilberto Raymon fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tellier FC's protests and gave Gilberto Raymon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, Tellier FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Raymon to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Rumaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ragnar Brodin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Virgilio Senen went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Cidro in the 26th minute of play forced Tellier FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Otsoko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Martin Bazil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holmberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Bazil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Virgilio Senen struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Ragnar Brodin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tellier FC. The supporters of Tellier FC booed when Holmberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Ciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Holmberg's Ragnar Brodin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Lavalle in the 37th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Leo Clementi took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Bernardo Otsoko to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leo Clementi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tellier FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! Martin Bazil shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Bernardo Otsoko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Galtero in the 67th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Martin Bazil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Holmberg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Bernardo Otsoko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 99th minute Leo Clementi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Otsoko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
