The coaching staff of Cieneguilla AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Justino Gartxot had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Franja Football Club's Astor Berbiz got a free kick in the 16th minute. Natalio Aritza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Cibran having to interfere. In the 19th minute Virgilio Cordaryal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Tauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cecilio Tauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Urtzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucio Mede's late challenge caught a Franja Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucio Mede helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th match minute, Cieneguilla AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Mede to maneuver through the defense. After 27 played minutes, Franja Football Club's Miguel Mergildo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cecilio Tauro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Franja Football Club reached it. A collision led to Cieneguilla AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Lucio Mede hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the game, Franja Football Club's Virgilio Cordaryal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cecilio Tauro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrique Mikelats during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cieneguilla AFC's Enrique Mikelats got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 46th minute Teofilo Urtzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Tauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cieneguilla AFC's Cecilio Tauro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Cieneguilla AFC from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Franja Football Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aureliano Argenis was slow to take the kick. During this time Cieneguilla AFC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Aureliano Argenis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nereo Cibran quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cecilio Tauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Urtzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Cecilio Tauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Ignado in the 59th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Virgilio Cordaryal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Saturnino Sedeni charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnino Sedeni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cieneguilla AFC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Saturnino Sedeni hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Bartolo Ikatz in the 92nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Cecilio Tauro's left hand side. Cecilio Tauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Urtzi in the 95th minute of play. Cecilio Tauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Cordaryal in the 97th minute of play. Franja Football Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
