Chinguillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Lauro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonel Tavio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teobaldo Ekain showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Jose Chorche recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonel Tavio.
