Nestor Paublo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aicuña AFC. In the 7th minute of the match, Prudencio Millrick tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nestor Paublo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Millrick in the 10th minute of play forced Aicuña's goalkeeper Nestor Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Aicuña AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Pitin came free, but Amado Liher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ladislao Monte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Nestor Paublo made a huge save. Andres Lauaxeta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amado Liher having to make a save. Fidel Foro charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fidel Foro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Aicuña booed when Aicuña AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Foro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Arnulfo Pitin made a precise shot to the right of Amado Liher. Aicuña AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Amado Liher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Txilar in the 39th minute of play. Amado Liher didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnulfo Pitin went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Aicuña's Nestor Paublo got control of the ball when Ladislao Monte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prudencio Millrick was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Andres Lauaxeta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aicuña's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Lauaxeta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prudencio Millrick in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Paublo saved Aicuña from getting behind. 57 minutes into the game, Prudencio Millrick was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aicuña AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aicuña the free kick. After a rather tough play, Aicuña AFC's Prudencio Millrick got a free kick in the 57th minute. Aicuña AFC's Faustino Erramu got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amado Liher came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Aicuña's Andres Lauaxeta. But to his dismay, Andres Lauaxeta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 69 played minutes Aicuña AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Steven. The long shot by Gonzalo Matai in the 69th minute really tested Amado Liher's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Aicuña's Nestor Paublo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Monte in the 72nd minute of play. Prudencio Millrick succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Ladislao Monte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Paublo having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Arnulfo Pitin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Amado Liher, passed just outside the right post. Aicuña AFC's Amado Liher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Pitin in the 93rd minute of play. Aicuña's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
