The supporters of Santamarina booed when Planet Express was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Tauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th match minute, Santamarina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Montay to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute Emiliano Xabel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Nabar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abelardo Egun during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Planet Express getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Abelardo Egun hit a great ball. German Paul charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Paul the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Planet Express! Planet Express's Abelardo Egun got his second yellow card of the match in the 41st minute. The referee ordered Abelardo Egun off the ground. After a rather tough play, Planet Express's Abelardo Egun got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When Emiliano Xabel came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Planet Express fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Xabel couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nereo Montay made a kick off. Leon Isadore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Oroitz having to interfere. Laureano Oroitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nereo Montay went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Laureano Oroitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Montay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Feliciano Raitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute of the match, Emiliano Xabel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Leon Nabar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 64 played minutes Planet Express got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Raitin. In the 68th minute, Planet Express's Emiliano Xabel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leon Nabar. Leon Nabar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Emiliano Xabel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Leon Nabar made a huge save. In the 83rd minute Norberto Kelemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Nabar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Planet Express's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1.
