Spectators: 7370 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mauricio Faro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Columbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Alavés's zone, Serafin Cordera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Faro came out of the goal and Serafin Cordera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Marciano Mateo came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Central FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marciano Mateo couldn't finish the play. In the 21stth minute of the game Baltasar Columbo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Alavés's Mauricio Faro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Central FC's Hilario Sayvion in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo Alavés's goalie prevented a goal. Raul Maju sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Central FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Severo Frechoso hit a great ball. A hard shot by Blas Bautista from long distance, 26 minutes into the match, got Leonides Oroitz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 26th minute, Serafin Cordera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Central FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Maju came free, but Leonides Oroitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Deportivo Alavés's Aureliano Kaxen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonides Oroitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorio Servando during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Central FC booed when Deportivo Alavés was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Servando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horacio Ramone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Faro having to interfere. Arsenio Lope kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If Severo Frechoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. Clodoveo Gaufred hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Deportivo Alavés's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Columbo came free, but Mauricio Faro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Central FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deportivo Alavés:s goal. In the 50th minute of the game, Deportivo Alavés got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Venancio Nuxila's late challenge caught a Deportivo Alavés's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustacio Galeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Faro having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 76 minutes into the match, Central FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Servando came free, but Leonides Oroitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafin Cordera charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafin Cordera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Serafin Cordera kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Eustacio Galeno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Central FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustacio Galeno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eustacio Galeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafin Cordera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Mauricio Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Aureliano Kaxen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Oroitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Serafin Cordera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Deportivo Alavés support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
