When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Flavio Laffitte took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Atilano Marquez to make any attempt to save it. Batıhan Baysal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atilano Marquez having to make a save. Eulalio Gonsalvo in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Atilano Marquez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 17 minutes, Silvio Bieito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores de Belgrano and the La Viola de Betito players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of La Viola de Betito booed when Defensores de Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Bieito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Batıhan Baysal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atilano Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Laffitte in the 23rd minute of the match. Atilano Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Gonsalvo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Atilano Marquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ida Bagus Adrianto in the 29th minute. Eulalio Gonsalvo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Atilano Marquez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Atilano Marquez came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Belgrano's Silvio Bieito. But to his dismay, Silvio Bieito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 43rd minute Eusébio Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Belgrano's Teobaldo Txeru got a free kick in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Atilano Marquez came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Belgrano's Batıhan Baysal. But to his dismay, Batıhan Baysal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 59 minutes into the match, Flavio Laffitte notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of La Viola de Betito's Atilano Marquez. Atilano Marquez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 63 minutes into the match, La Viola de Betito's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Viana came free, but Atilano Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Batıhan Baysal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Defensores de Belgrano's Eusébio Viana quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Braulio Gilen, made in the 66th minute of the game. Batıhan Baysal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelino Nel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teodosio Rameriz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 68 minute of play. Atilano Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batıhan Baysal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Viola de Betito's Atilano Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Laffitte in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to La Viola de Betito getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Niceto Tonete hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Batıhan Baysal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores de Belgrano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. In the 97th minute of the match Silvio Bieito shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Atilano Marquez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
