Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rolando Peruxu started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, SynapseFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Pasqual to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute, Rolando Peruxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baldomero Nikola was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 5 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in SynapseFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! When Rolando Peruxu fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fútbol Club 49's protests and gave Rolando Peruxu a yellow card for diving instead. Rolando Peruxu kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to SynapseFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Gustavo Pasqual hit a great ball. The supporters of Fútbol Club 49 booed when SynapseFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Eusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fútbol Club 49's Jose Normando shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Freddy Gabirel but with some difficulty. With a little luck, SynapseFC's Freddy Gabirel got control of the ball when Rolando Peruxu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Rolando Peruxu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddy Gabirel. SynapseFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rolando Peruxu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Peruxu got free with Freddy Gabirel in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Modesto Osmundo came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Fútbol Club 49 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Osmundo couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the game, Rolando Peruxu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Freddy Gabirel. Rolando Peruxu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romeo Dacio made a kick off. Freddy Gabirel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Peruxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the SynapseFC defense, Modesto Osmundo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Freddy Gabirel. The SynapseFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freddy Gabirel should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Rolando Peruxu sped through SynapseFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Freddy Gabirel. Freddy Gabirel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Peruxu in the 68th minute of the match. Abelardo Raulo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeo Dacio in the 69th minute. Santo Eusko kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fútbol Club 49's zone, Gustavo Pasqual stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Raulo came out of the goal and Gustavo Pasqual tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Romeo Dacio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Romeo Dacio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Abelardo Raulo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Peruxu in the 88th minute of play forced SynapseFC's goalkeeper Freddy Gabirel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Romeo Dacio managed to get in a good position for a shot. SynapseFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Dacio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Raulo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fútbol Club 49's Abelardo Raulo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Fútbol Club 49 from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolando Peruxu in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddy Gabirel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fútbol Club 49's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
