The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octavio Duarte during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th minute, Octavio Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnulfo Ursino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Iturri having to interfere. After 12 minutes, Rogelio Mancio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SAN LORENZO and the SynapseFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 12 minutes into the game, one of SAN LORENZO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Herminio Bela made in the 16th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gustavo Pasqual immediately put the ball in play. If Romeo Dacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddy Gabirel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Dolfos in the 19th minute of the match. If Melchor Dolfos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SynapseFC's zone, Faustino Goi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Gabirel came out of the goal and Faustino Goi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Melchor Dolfos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Freddy Gabirel. That made the score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. SAN LORENZO's Melchor Dolfos pulled a muscle in his back after 34 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 34 minutes into the game, Baldomero Nikola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SynapseFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAN LORENZO the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Dacio in the 40th minute of play forced SAN LORENZO's goalkeeper Carlos Iturri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Santo Eusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Iturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SAN LORENZO getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Geronimo Jaizki hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Natalio Cordarius made a kick off. Leonardo Afonso's late challenge caught a SAN LORENZO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Afonso helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SynapseFC! Natalio Cordarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Freddy Gabirel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeo Dacio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Carlos Iturri made a huge save. In the 69th minute, Romeo Dacio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Iturri was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. 78 minutes into the match, SynapseFC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Goi came free, but Freddy Gabirel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 79 minutes, Natalio Cordarius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAN LORENZO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natalio Cordarius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciro Jakobe kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Freddy Gabirel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Goi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Faustino Goi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Natalio Cordarius notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of SynapseFC's Freddy Gabirel. Freddy Gabirel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Freddy Gabirel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Cordarius in the 88th minute of the match. Carlos Iturri made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Romeo Dacio sent off a good shot on target. SAN LORENZO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Arnulfo Ursino scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Iturri, making the score, 5-3. SAN LORENZO's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
