In the 5th minute, Eduardo Rosio made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Iturri. SAN LORENZO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Faustino Goi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Hegoi having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Sporting Club's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Dolfos came free, but Juan Hegoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melchor Dolfos struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Juan Hegoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAN LORENZO. A hard shot 15 in the game by Natalio Cordarius from a close distance when the talented Juan Hegoi managed to make a qualified save. Sporting Club's players were relieved. A collision led to Sporting Club getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Filomeno Gaur hit a great ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Faustino Goi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAN LORENZO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustino Goi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sporting Club's Juan Hegoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Dolfos in the 22nd minute of play. Juan Hegoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Cordarius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute of the match, Melchor Dolfos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Juan Hegoi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 29th minute of the match, Faustino Goi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Juan Hegoi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Carlos Iturri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Rojelio in the 30th minute of play. When Melchor Dolfos came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the SAN LORENZO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melchor Dolfos couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute Melchor Dolfos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Hegoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natalio Cordarius in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Hegoi saved Sporting Club from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natalio Cordarius in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Hegoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natalio Cordarius was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Ismael Harri in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SAN LORENZO's Carolo Valery. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melchor Dolfos in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Hegoi saved Sporting Club from getting behind. In the 57th minute, one of SAN LORENZO:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SAN LORENZO. Eduardo Rosio kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Juan Hegoi came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by SAN LORENZO's Natalio Cordarius. But to his dismay, Natalio Cordarius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 73rd minute, Faustino Goi made a precise shot to the right of Juan Hegoi. Sporting Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 77 minutes into the match, Natalio Cordarius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Hegoi. Sporting Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natalio Cordarius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Geronimo Jaizki charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geronimo Jaizki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SAN LORENZO getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Geronimo Jaizki hit a great ball. Carlos Iturri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evaristo Teyo's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustino Goi in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Hegoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Natalio Cordarius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Iturri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Gaur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the SAN LORENZO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
