Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Juan Lapurdi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Juan Lapurdi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciro Dodorol having to make a save. Ciro Dodorol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Mikeldi in the 6th minute of the match. Covello were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Alpachiri AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Damian Mikeldi took the corner. The corner ended in Damian Mikeldi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Alpachiri AFC's Ciro Dodorol did a great save. Alpachiri AFC were furious when Basilio Mon was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 16 minutes into the game, one of Alpachiri AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Covello. Damian Mikeldi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ciro Dodorol. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Lapurdi in the 21st minute of play forced Alpachiri AFC's goalkeeper Ciro Dodorol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Cordarrell notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Alpachiri AFC's Ciro Dodorol. Ciro Dodorol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ramon Rafe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Admon in the 26th minute of the match. Juan Lapurdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Dodorol having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Alpachiri AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Mikeldi came free, but Ciro Dodorol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Covello's Ramon Rafe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Castel in the 31st minute of play. Covello's Ramon Rafe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Covello from getting a goal against them. Damian Mikeldi, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Covello's Damian Mikeldi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciro Dodorol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alpachiri AFC's Gualterio Castel got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Cordarrell in the 45th minute of play forced Alpachiri AFC's goalkeeper Ciro Dodorol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Damian Mikeldi made a precise shot to the right of Ciro Dodorol. Alpachiri AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gualterio Castel was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Covello defense, Santos Admon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramon Rafe. The Covello fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramon Rafe should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Covello's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Castel came free, but Ramon Rafe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Fortun charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardo Fortun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, Covello was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Fortun to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute Serafin Rey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Rafe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramon Rafe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Castel in the 70th minute of play. Santos Admon took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramon Rafe. Ramon Rafe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Juan Lapurdi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Ciro Dodorol made a huge save. After 77 minutes of play, Covello's Bonifacio Cordarrell made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciro Dodorol was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juan Lapurdi took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciro Dodorol. Ciro Dodorol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. In the 83rd minute, Damian Mikeldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Lapurdi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Ciro Dodorol when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Damian Mikeldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Dodorol came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Covello's Juan Lapurdi. But to his dismay, Juan Lapurdi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-7. Alpachiri AFC's Ciro Dodorol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Mikeldi in the 98th minute of play. Covello's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
