Paulito's Ovidio Corderro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Gaskon in the 8th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Atilano Matxin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Tornquist FC's Dario Fagondo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Przemyslaw Kolbe struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Mauro Oihan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paulito. Ariel Fidensio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 19 minutes into the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Benito Camela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paulito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benito Camela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Przemyslaw Kolbe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Tornquist FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Mariano Abella hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Paulito's Benito Camela dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The supporters of Paulito booed when Tornquist FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Abella didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 played minutes Tornquist FC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Abella. If Benito Camela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Benito Camela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauro Oihan having to make a save. If Rene Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Corderro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Crispo in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Przemyslaw Kolbe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paulito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The Paulito fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Paulito's Benito Camela looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Przemyslaw Kolbe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 81 minutes into the match, Tornquist FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Camela came free, but Mauro Oihan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Tornquist FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Tobias Gaskon hit a great ball. Paulito's Atilano Matxin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tornquist FC. After 89 played minutes Tornquist FC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Abella. When Benito Camela came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Paulito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benito Camela couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rene Crispo got free with Ovidio Corderro in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulito's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
