Godfredo Boni charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Godfredo Boni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Victoria AFC booed when Humboldt AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Boni didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th match minute, Victoria AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Jobo to maneuver through the defense. Godfredo Boni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humboldt AFC's Niceto Gutierrez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Jobo in the 14th minute of play. Desiderio Raulo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Adrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 19th minute of the match, Lorenzo Jobo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Niceto Gutierrez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 21st match minute, Humboldt AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Medero to maneuver through the defense. If Lorenzo Jobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Humboldt AFC's Silvano Adrio got a free kick in the 25th minute. Lorenzo Jobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Gutierrez having to interfere. Victorio Bartoli who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Niceto Gutierrez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Humboldt AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Jobo came free, but Niceto Gutierrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niceto Gutierrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Jobo in the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to Humboldt AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Adrian Medero hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Hernan Elivareo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Humboldt AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 41st minute Lorenzo Jobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Gutierrez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niceto Gutierrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Jobo in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Adrian Medero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Desiderio Raulo. Victoria AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrian Medero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorio Bartoli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Desiderio Raulo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Elivareo in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Jobo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niceto Gutierrez. Humboldt AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lorenzo Jobo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Lorenzo Jobo succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. The supporters of Victoria AFC booed when Humboldt AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Medero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorio Bartoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 minutes of play, Victoria AFC's Lorenzo Jobo made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niceto Gutierrez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Niceto Gutierrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Jobo in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Victoria AFC's goalkeeper Desiderio Raulo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvano Adrio. Humboldt AFC's Hernan Elivareo got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lorenzo Jobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Niceto Gutierrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Humboldt AFC's Godfredo Boni got a free kick in the 84th minute. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Victorio Bartoli put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Niceto Gutierrez. Niceto Gutierrez came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Victoria AFC's Lorenzo Jobo. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Jobo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. The supporters of Victoria AFC booed when Humboldt AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Medero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victoria AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
