Alberto Johans hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Felipillo in the 39th minute of play forced Carbonero FC's goalkeeper André Luiz Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Carbonero FC's Dalmacio Urtun got a free kick in the 41st minute. Edelmiro Sayveon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. André Luiz Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, La 52 FC's goalkeeper Teobaldo Fanuco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gogo Oihenarte. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casimiro Felipillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Alberto Johans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Edelmiro Sayveon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teobaldo Fanuco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guadalupe Bolden, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Teobaldo Cambranes charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teobaldo Cambranes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 79 minutes into the match, Despot Hodak notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of La 52 FC's Teobaldo Fanuco. Teobaldo Fanuco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 99 minutes into the match, Carbonero FC's Despot Hodak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teobaldo Fanuco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Carbonero FC had played much better football throughout.
