Kaiken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zhuo Wen Zhen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernabe Mel made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Roland Schiavi sent off a good shot on target. Agustin Ayala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Karmel in the 33rd minute of the match. If Daniel Andersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Mel having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Eduardo Bernabel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kaiken's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Bernabel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernabe Mel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
