Desalineados FC were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Bouquet's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zacarias Su took the corner. Guido Eudoxio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Bouquet's Artemio Garci got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Artemio Garci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Anastasio Ado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artemio Garci made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Bouquet's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Eudoxio came free, but Marcelo Raulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute of the match Desalineados FC got a corner. Bouquet's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zacarias Su ran over to the corner to take the kick. 56 minutes into the game, Honorio Caradaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Desalineados FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bouquet the free kick. A collision led to Desalineados FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Honorio Caradaro hit a great ball. Claudio Etxeberri's late challenge caught a Desalineados FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Etxeberri helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, Bouquet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Etxeberri to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Ramon Niva notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Bouquet's Marcelo Raulo. Marcelo Raulo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 82 minutes, Ramon Niva made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bouquet's Marcelo Raulo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelo Raulo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramon Niva's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Jonatan Jurgi's late challenge caught a Bouquet's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anastasio Ado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Montrel having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artemio Garci got free with Gabriel Montrel in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bouquet's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
