With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Rocha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernabe Mel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Acuña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Acuña scored 3-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernabe Mel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, By Kein MDP's Cosme Jacob got a free kick in the 95th minute. Argentina's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
