Spectators: 6003 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fausto Berdoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Venerando in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Felix Piearres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute, Jimeno Venerando made a precise shot to the right of Fausto Berdoi. Vela Bola's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Fausto Berdoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Piearres in the 16th minute of the match. Fausto Berdoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Piearres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gimnasia L.P.'s Jimeno Venerando got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the game, Gimnasia L.P.'s Placido Ceandro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fausto Berdoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fausto Berdoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Piearres went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute Urbano Gombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Aztore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jimeno Venerando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jimeno Venerando received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fausto Berdoi came out and tried to block the shot, but Jimeno Venerando slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 54th minute. Fausto Berdoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Venerando, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Gimnasia L.P.'s Placido Ceandro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. 62 minutes into the match, Gimnasia L.P.'s Placido Ceandro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Berdoi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 66 played minutes Vela Bola got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Eate. If Felix Piearres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Gimnasia L.P.'s Felix Piearres got a free kick in the 74th minute. Cesar Eate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Vela Bola's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Ceandro came free, but Fausto Berdoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Felix Piearres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gimnasia L.P. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Jimeno Venerando in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fausto Berdoi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Saverio Calisto took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fausto Berdoi. Fausto Berdoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Gimnasia L.P. made a substitution. Martin Quinten replaced Placido Ceandro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimeno Venerando in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Berdoi saved Vela Bola from getting behind. The Vela Bola fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gimnasia L.P. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
