In the 2nd minute Felix Piearres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimeno Venerando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albano Aztore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Benat in the 7th minute of play. In the last second Albano Aztore throw himself and got hold of the ball when Aldo Benat in the 7thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 9th minute Jimeno Venerando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, By Kein MDP's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Ceandro came free, but João Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Saverio Calisto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Rocha. By Kein MDP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saverio Calisto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. João Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Calisto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albano Aztore made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Aldo Benat sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to By Kein MDP getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Eustacio Hunfredo hit a great ball. João Rocha came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Gimnasia L.P.'s Saverio Calisto. But to his dismay, Saverio Calisto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 48th minute, Felix Piearres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gimnasia L.P. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jimeno Venerando to make the kick off. A collision led to By Kein MDP getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Cirilo Bizen hit a great ball. João Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Liher in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute Silvano Flor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, By Kein MDP's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Venerando came free, but João Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of By Kein MDP:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gimnasia L.P.:s goal. João Rocha went to the wrong direction when Constantino Liher was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a rather tough play, By Kein MDP's Alfonso Ihintza got a free kick in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saverio Calisto got free with João Rocha in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, By Kein MDP's goalkeeper João Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saverio Calisto. After 71 played minutes By Kein MDP got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Hunfredo. By Kein MDP's João Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save By Kein MDP from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, Jimeno Venerando dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of João Rocha, 0-5. In the 88th minute, Jimeno Venerando reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of João Rocha. The goal made the score 0-6. Albano Aztore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Acuña in the 95th minute of the match. João Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Venerando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Rocha made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Felix Piearres sent off a good shot on target. The By Kein MDP fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gimnasia L.P. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
