The Saavedra FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 23 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Eyague came free, but Carolo Diaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Piorno kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When Israel Ekialde fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saavedra FC's protests and gave Israel Ekialde a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes Saavedra FC got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Elia. In the 39th match minute, Saavedra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Ekialde to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Angel Bonadona reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carolo Diaz. The goal made the score 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angel Bonadona to make the kick off.
