Spectators: 7290 (Terracing: 5503, Seating: 1687, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eloy Manni got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Saavedra FC's zone, Eloy Manni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Cutberto came out of the goal and Eloy Manni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Andres Videl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saavedra FC's Andres Videl got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Locolope FC's goalkeeper Santiago Isias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andres Videl. 13 minutes into the match, Saavedra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Manni came free, but Apolo Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Isias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Eyague in the 14th minute of play. Andres Videl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Santiago Isias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eloy Manni struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Apolo Cutberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Locolope FC. Apolo Cutberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Dominic in the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Paulo Guib was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saavedra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Locolope FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Saavedra FC's Paulo Guib got a free kick in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Saavedra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Dominic came free, but Apolo Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Gergori charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo Gergori the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Apolo Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Manni in the 43rd minute of play. Eleuterio Ortle kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Andres Videl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andres Videl to make the kick off. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Locolope FC's goalkeeper Santiago Isias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santiago Isias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Videl in the 62nd minute of play. Apolo Cutberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Manni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 66 minutes, Andres Videl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saavedra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Videl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saavedra FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eloy Manni 70 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. Apolo Cutberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Manni in the 73rd minute of the match. A collision led to Saavedra FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Paulo Guib hit a great ball. Locolope FC's Eloy Manni got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abel Azevedo's late challenge caught a Locolope FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rene Dominic could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Apolo Cutberto made a huge save. Santiago Isias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Gipuzkoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 97th minute Eloy Manni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Cutberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
