Lobo del Parque's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulino Abalos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Artal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Hector Ortzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, C.A. River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Mano to maneuver through the defense. Hector Ortzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Artal, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Leandro Fernendo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Christian Artal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hector Ortzi was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Christian Artal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Ortzi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lobo del Parque's zone, Paolo Domeka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Ortzi came out of the goal and Paolo Domeka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, Lobo del Parque's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Artal came free, but Hector Ortzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 48 minutes of play, C.A. River Plate's Paolo Domeka made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hector Ortzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Artal made a kick off. Hector Ortzi didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when C.A. River Plate's Christian Artal shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Lobo del Parque's Hector Ortzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Artal in the 58th minute of play. Fabian Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Abalos in the 59th minute of the match. Nicasio Felipo's late challenge caught a C.A. River Plate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicasio Felipo helped the player get up and apologised. Hector Ortzi had in the 63rdth minute some difficulties stopping Timoteo Mano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Artal in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hector Ortzi saved Lobo del Parque from getting behind. Hector Ortzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Artal in the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Artal in the 70th minute of play forced Lobo del Parque's goalkeeper Hector Ortzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Ortzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Artal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lobo del Parque's goalkeeper Hector Ortzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Abalos in the 77th minute of play forced C.A. River Plate's goalkeeper Fabian Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Domeka kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Paulino Abalos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match was over C.A. River Plate could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lobo del Parque throughout the match.
