Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Baldomero Dimo kicked off to start the match. Rosario Central's Carolo Diaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Bonadona in the 3rd minute of play. Angel Bonadona took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carolo Diaz. Carolo Diaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the game, Andres Videl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Carolo Diaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Angel Bonadona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Diaz having to interfere. Rosendo Sauveur charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rosendo Sauveur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 16 minutes into the game, Angelo Eyague cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Carolo Diaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute, Victoriano Vellito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carolo Diaz came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Saavedra FC's Angel Bonadona. But to his dismay, Angel Bonadona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 25th minute, Rosario Central's Baldomero Dimo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Bonadona in the 37th minute of play forced Rosario Central's goalkeeper Carolo Diaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Ermengol kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Angel Bonadona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Angel Bonadona came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Saavedra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Bonadona couldn't finish the play. Angel Bonadona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angel Bonadona to make the kick off. A collision led to Saavedra FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Angel Bonadona hit a great ball. Angel Bonadona received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carolo Diaz came out and tried to block the shot, but Angel Bonadona slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 55th minute. Rosario Central's Carolo Diaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Bonadona in the 59th minute of play. Angel Bonadona's late challenge caught a Rosario Central's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Bonadona helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st match minute, Saavedra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Bonadona to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Saavedra FC's Paulo Guib slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carolo Diaz. That made the score 1-7 after 66 minutes of play. When Angelo Eyague came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Saavedra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Eyague couldn't finish the play. In the 73rdth minute of the game Angel Bonadona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosario Central's Carolo Diaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Rosario Central booed when Saavedra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Bonadona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Carolo Diaz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Andres Videl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Diaz having to interfere. Carolo Diaz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Benedicto Elia. When Jairo Casado fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saavedra FC's protests and gave Jairo Casado a yellow card for diving instead. Jairo Casado kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Angelo Eyague took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carolo Diaz. Carolo Diaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Bonadona in the 94th minute of play forced Rosario Central's goalkeeper Carolo Diaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Saavedra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Dimo came free, but Apolo Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Saavedra FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
