Freddy Calvet might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celestino Eguntsenti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Freddy Calvet ran back to his position shaking his head. Alejo Dalmau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celestino Eguntsenti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Rosa FC's goalkeeper Celestino Eguntsenti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Freddy Calvet came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the La plata fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Calvet couldn't finish the play. Alejo Dalmau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeronimo Toro was the one to do the kick off. Alejo Dalmau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Eguntsenti having to interfere. If Alejo Dalmau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Vasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celestino Eguntsenti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Calvet in the 68th minute of play. Celestino Eguntsenti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Dalmau in the 70th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Fernan Erramun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adan Gonchan. La plata fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernan Erramun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Celso Vasco's late challenge caught a La Rosa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. La plata fc fully deserved thier win.
