Enzo Franco might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Etor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enzo Franco ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ladislao Diaz during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ladislao Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Albino Seme's late challenge caught a Napostá's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albino Seme helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Barriales AFC got a freekick which was hit by Albino Seme. Generoso Osoro took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ezequiel Ted. Ezequiel Ted dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ezequiel Ted showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Santio in the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to Barriales AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Baltasar Rey hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Napostá's Eusebio Burutzagi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Santo Lleir hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Jesus Ugaitz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Osoro in the 37th minute of play forced Napostá's goalkeeper Ezequiel Ted to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Burutzagi got free with Samuel Etor in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, Napostá's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Osoro came free, but Ezequiel Ted reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Feliberto Santio came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Barriales AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliberto Santio couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusebio Burutzagi was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Enzo Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Napostá's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Franco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Etor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesus Ugaitz during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Santo Lleir took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Samuel Etor. Barriales AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Napostá's Enzo Franco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Etor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusebio Burutzagi in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Etor saved Barriales AFC from getting behind. Eusebio Burutzagi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Samuel Etor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ezequiel Ted made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Generoso Osoro sent off a good shot on target. Napostá's Ezequiel Ted proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Napostá from getting a goal against them. Ezequiel Ted took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Santio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacobo Eguzki hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Feliberto Santio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ezequiel Ted was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Ezequiel Ted made an important save on a dangerous shot by Generoso Osoro in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute Feliberto Santio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Ted saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
