Dietrich's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartolo Barea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After some careless play in the Dietrich defense, Narciso Gerazan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Alonso. The Dietrich fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Alonso should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Dietrich booed when Almagro Vip was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Mateo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bartolo Barea came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Almagro Vip fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Barea couldn't finish the play. After having played for 93 minutes, Bartolo Barea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almagro Vip's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Barea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Almagro Vip's Siro Ubendu got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute Narciso Gerazan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Almagro Vip's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
