Jairo Benino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Cipriano Maiorga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute Fulgencio Raebert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Maiorga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jairo Benino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Weather showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Jerrold, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After a rather tough play, CSyD Equipardo's Fulgencio Sandalio got a free kick in the 19th minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Jairo Benino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Cielo por Asalto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Benino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 26 minutes, Edgard Jerrold mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CSyD Equipardo and the El Cielo por Asalto players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jairo Benino struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Cipriano Maiorga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Cielo por Asalto. 31 minutes into the match, El Cielo por Asalto's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Jerrold came free, but Clemente Weather reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes Fulgencio Raebert rounded CSyD Equipardo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 40th minute Pablo Viator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Weather saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes El Cielo por Asalto got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Fiz. Edgard Bela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemente Weather read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgard Jerrold in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemente Weather prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Artemio Fiz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pablo Viator to strike the kick off in the second half. Jairo Benino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cipriano Maiorga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, El Cielo por Asalto's Jairo Benino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cipriano Maiorga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Cipriano Maiorga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Benino in the 56th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Edgard Jerrold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lino Montrell took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cipriano Maiorga. Cipriano Maiorga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, CSyD Equipardo's Gregorio Blasco got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Artemio Fiz came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the El Cielo por Asalto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Fiz couldn't finish the play. Jairo Benino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Maiorga having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Lino Montrell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Cielo por Asalto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Montrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jairo Benino in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cipriano Maiorga saved CSyD Equipardo from getting behind. 81 minutes into the match, Jairo Benino notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of CSyD Equipardo's Cipriano Maiorga. Cipriano Maiorga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. El Cielo por Asalto made a substitution. Lisandro Panpili replaced Lino Montrell. Cipriano Maiorga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jairo Benino's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. After some careless play in the CSyD Equipardo defense, Jairo Benino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cipriano Maiorga. The CSyD Equipardo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cipriano Maiorga should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that El Cielo por Asalto were the better team. El Cielo por Asalto's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
