San Lorenzo's Cirilo Segio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Endura in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Frans in the 5th minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Cirilo Segio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirilo Segio came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Azulcuesta AFC's Teobaldo Frans. But to his dismay, Teobaldo Frans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pastor Rudolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Leo Bertol made a precise shot to the right of Melchor Mercurio. Azulcuesta AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 22nd minute, San Lorenzo's Leo Bertol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melchor Mercurio. Melchor Mercurio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Paulo Endura hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Azulcuesta AFC's goalkeeper Melchor Mercurio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the game, Antonio Gonsalvo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Melchor Mercurio. Antonio Gonsalvo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Blas Cedro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Melchor Mercurio made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Leo Bertol put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Melchor Mercurio. Cirilo Segio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Frans in the 42nd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leo Bertol made a kick off. Azulcuesta AFC's Melchor Mercurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Cedro in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when Azulcuesta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Endura didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute of the match Marco Nahia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Melchor Mercurio skillfully saved the ball. In the 76th minute, Paulo Endura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Damian Piearres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Azulcuesta AFC's Melchor Mercurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Bertol in the 80th minute of play. Melchor Mercurio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Bertol, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Bertol in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melchor Mercurio saved Azulcuesta AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Bertol in the 85th minute of play forced Azulcuesta AFC's goalkeeper Melchor Mercurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th match minute, Azulcuesta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Frans to maneuver through the defense. Leo Bertol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Mercurio having to interfere.
