Spectators: 7350 (Terracing: 5513, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leo Bertol got the match started through his kick off. Hipolito Paez kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4thth minute of the game Blas Cedro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Defes de Sarandí's Wilber Arango was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 9 minutes San Lorenzo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hipolito Paez who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Hipolito Paez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but San Lorenzo's Cirilo Segio did a great save. In the 12th match minute, Los Defes de Sarandí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Paez to maneuver through the defense. In the 15thth minute of the game Blas Cedro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Defes de Sarandí's Wilber Arango was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Melquiades Cuarto kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Bertol in the 25th minute of play forced Los Defes de Sarandí's goalkeeper Wilber Arango to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Leo Bertol put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wilber Arango. Blas Cedro took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilber Arango. Wilber Arango dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Antonio Gonsalvo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sakarias Bratt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Cirilo Segio made a huge save. Clodoveo Frantzes's late challenge caught a San Lorenzo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clodoveo Frantzes helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes Los Defes de Sarandí got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Frantzes.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sakarias Bratt to make the kick off. Melquiades Cuarto hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blas Cedro got free with Wilber Arango in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilber Arango showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Bertol, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Pirmin in the 66th minute of play forced Los Defes de Sarandí's goalkeeper Wilber Arango to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Juan Llorian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the game, Blas Cedro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Wilber Arango was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Los Defes de Sarandí made a substitution. Sergio Santxol replaced Amauri Melo. Los Defes de Sarandí's Wilber Arango proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Los Defes de Sarandí from getting a goal against them. Blas Cedro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Wilber Arango made a huge save. If Korneliusz Mitus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walery Gorzkiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Cirilo Segio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched San Lorenzo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
