Atletico Atlas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Gervaso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Bernad in the 18th minute of play forced Atletico Atlas's goalkeeper Edmond Tardif to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Godofredo Edur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Tardif saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Atletico Atlas's Jeremias Sidro got a free kick in the 31st minute. Silvestre Bernad took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmond Tardif. Edmond Tardif dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Apolo Caitano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jeremias Sidro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 42 minute of play. Silvestre Bernad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Tardif having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Gervaso to make the kick off. Edmond Tardif was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Maximiliano Onofre. In the 58th minute, Candido Venerando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ŗэą£ βаяяа¢α§ off booed when Atletico Atlas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Venerando didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Atlas's zone, Silvestre Bernad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmond Tardif came out of the goal and Silvestre Bernad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the match, Ŗэą£ βаяяа¢α§ off's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Chus came free, but Apolo Caitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apolo Caitano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Venerando in the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Ŗэą£ βаяяа¢α§ off's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Sidro came free, but Apolo Caitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Gervaso during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Atletico Atlas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Gervaso to maneuver through the defense. Silvestre Bernad took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmond Tardif. Apolo Caitano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg Edmond Tardif managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Ŗэą£ βаяяа¢α§ off's Silvestre Bernad fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Atletico Atlas's Edmond Tardif proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Atlas from getting a goal against them. Ŗэą£ βаяяа¢α§ off's Apolo Caitano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Gervaso in the 96th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Chus in the 97th minute of play forced Ŗэą£ βаяяа¢α§ off's goalkeeper Apolo Caitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
