Spectators: 7351 (Terracing: 5514, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Felix Gervaso started the match with the kick off. 11 minutes into the match, Felix Gervaso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jim Gabrielsson, 1-0. Ramon Chus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Gabrielsson having to interfere. A hard shot 21 in the game by Ramon Chus from a close distance when the talented Jim Gabrielsson managed to make a qualified save. CAJA lechuzo's players were relieved. Jim Gabrielsson stood somewhat misplaced when Ramon Chus came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 21 minute. Edmond Tardif didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raúl Madero went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, Ramon Chus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Atlas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Chus got free with Jim Gabrielsson in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Domingo Etxahun fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CAJA lechuzo's protests and gave Domingo Etxahun a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CAJA lechuzo getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Domingo Etxahun hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Domingo Etxahun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domingo Etxahun to strike the kick off in the second half. Jim Gabrielsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Venerando in the 51st minute of play. In the 58th minute, Candido Venerando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atletico Atlas's Edmond Tardif played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Madero in the 59th minute of play. Jim Gabrielsson came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Atlas's Ramon Chus. But to his dismay, Ramon Chus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The supporters of Atletico Atlas booed when CAJA lechuzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Abadie didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute of the match Aureliano Machado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jim Gabrielsson skillfully saved the ball. Candido Venerando kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Domingo Etxahun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Edmond Tardif tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Guaberto Liberto had to leave the field with a concussion. When Candido Venerando fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Atlas's protests and gave Candido Venerando a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Atletico Atlas's Candido Venerando got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th match minute, Atletico Atlas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Elivareo to maneuver through the defense. Domingo Etxahun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Edmond Tardif tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingo Etxahun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Atletico Atlas were victorious despite being under pressure from CAJA lechuzo for much of the match.
