Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Pastor Rudolfo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Rosalio in the 8th minute of play forced Azulcuesta AFC's goalkeeper Melchor Mercurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 minutes of play, Azulcuesta AFC's Pastor Rudolfo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto Urre was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21st minute of the match, Damian Piearres got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jacinto Urre was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 26th minute Gaston Rosalio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Mercurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fabricio Pacorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When CA Defensores Nacionales's Isaias Herensuge in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Azulcuesta AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 35 played minutes CA Defensores Nacionales got a freekick which was hit by Marco Naldo. 36 minutes into the match, CA Defensores Nacionales's goalkeeper Jacinto Urre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teobaldo Frans. 41 minutes into the match, Azulcuesta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Pacorro came free, but Melchor Mercurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabricio Pacorro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Melchor Mercurio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabricio Pacorro's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

CA Defensores Nacionales's Jacinto Urre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Rudolfo in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Azulcuesta AFC booed when CA Defensores Nacionales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Patxi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Endura kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Azulcuesta AFC's goalkeeper Melchor Mercurio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaston Rosalio. If Gaston Rosalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchor Mercurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Pacorro in the 61st minute of play. Jacinto Urre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Endura in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Azulcuesta AFC's Damian Piearres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacinto Urre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Fabricio Pacorro struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Melchor Mercurio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Defensores Nacionales. Fabricio Pacorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Melchor Mercurio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Urre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Frans in the 73rd minute of play. Damian Piearres kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Azulcuesta AFC defense, Gaston Rosalio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melchor Mercurio. The Azulcuesta AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melchor Mercurio should have stopped the shot. When Isaias Herensuge fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA Defensores Nacionales's protests and gave Isaias Herensuge a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CA Defensores Nacionales getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Isaias Herensuge hit a great ball. Jacinto Urre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Frans, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Azulcuesta AFC's Pastor Rudolfo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacinto Urre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Jacinto Urre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Frans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Azulcuesta AFC's zone, Fabricio Pacorro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melchor Mercurio came out of the goal and Fabricio Pacorro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Azulcuesta AFC could leave the field as winners, despite CA Defensores Nacionales having more of the ball for most of the match.
