Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Herminio Firmin kicked off to start the match. Erasmo Napier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Firmin in the 3rd minute of the match. Erasmo Napier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Sarracino in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute Baldomero Seber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Napier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6thth minute of the game Herminio Firmin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argentinos del Norte's Erasmo Napier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Herminio Firmin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th match minute, Argentinos del Norte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Gonzales to maneuver through the defense. Jose Nafarroa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Joel Solustiano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maximo Hechter, 1-0. Erasmo Napier came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Chamacos's Herminio Firmin. But to his dismay, Herminio Firmin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Honorio Vellito came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Chamacos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorio Vellito couldn't finish the play. Francisco Txeru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Hechter having to interfere. Erasmo Napier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomero Seber's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute, Valentin Gonzales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernando Fanuco kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Honorio Vellito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomero Seber blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erasmo Napier having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horacio Eguen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Herminio Firmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th match minute, Chamacos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Leoiar to maneuver through the defense. Maximo Hechter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Solustiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Argentinos del Norte getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Francisco Txeru hit a great ball. The supporters of Argentinos del Norte booed when Chamacos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Seber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquilino Otoniel hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 83 played minutes Argentinos del Norte got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Matthew. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Seber in the 83rd minute of play forced Argentinos del Norte's goalkeeper Erasmo Napier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erasmo Napier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herminio Firmin in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute Valentin Gonzales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Hechter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herminio Firmin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Chamacos players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
